Located in the spectacular Cocora Valley near Salento, Quindío, the Acaime Natural Reserve offers a beautiful combination of cloud forests, mountain trails, and rich biodiversity. The reserve is especially famous for its hummingbirds, which visitors can observe up close at feeding stations throughout the property.
The surrounding Cocora Valley is also home to Colombia’s iconic wax palms, the country’s national tree. These towering palms can reach heights of up to 60 metres and create one of the most distinctive landscapes in the Colombian Andes.
