I have been part of KonTour Travel for four years, during which I have learned extensively about the different destinations across Colombia, as well as had the opportunity to visit several of them personally.

I was born in Bogotá, Colombia, to European parents. I had the privilege of living abroad for several years, where I worked in gastronomy and hospitality. I chose to return to my home country to reconnect with it more deeply. This decision led me to join the KonTour Travel team, where I design journeys across Colombia and continue discovering the richness of its landscapes, people, and destinations.

I believe tourism is one of the most meaningful ways to experience this country, and that Colombia is a place meant to be discovered and revisited time and time again. I hope you will have the opportunity to enjoy and appreciate it as well.

I have been part of the KonTour Travel family for seven years now. During this time, living in Colombia has continually inspired me, as I remain fascinated by the country’s extraordinary diversity in landscapes, climates, traditions, and people. I am deeply passionate about sharing its essence through our travel experiences.

My academic background in tourism and human geography has provided me with valuable insights into travel dynamics and the cultural and historical contexts of the destinations we offer. I firmly believe that exploring new places and engaging with different realities fosters intercultural understanding and encourages greater respect for the preservation of our planet.

Although Colombia offers an incredible range of destinations, my personal favorite are the páramos—unique high-altitude ecosystems in the Andes. Their cool climate, striking scenery, and distinctive flora and fauna create an experience that is truly unmatched.

I was born and raised in Colombia to a German mother and father. After finishing my studies in international business in Germany I decided to return to Colombia, the land that I consider my true home and that I have always carried in my heart. Throughout my professional career I have been dedicated to the airline industry and tourism, which has given me the opportunity to travel around the world and immerse myself in different cultures, living unforgettable experiences. Today I feel fortunate to be able to promote the wonders of my country and share the beauty and magic that is Colombia, its immense natural wealth, the exquisite cuisine and the kindness and joy of its people.

My passion is traveling, and I have had the opportunity to live many enriching experiences—such as climbing a snow-capped mountain, exploring the wonders of Colombia’s Pacific coast with its stunning coves and waterfalls cascading through lush landscapes, discovering the Caribbean coast and its beautiful beaches, and admiring the breathtaking scenery of Boyacá.

I also have the privilege of enjoying the rich and diverse cuisine of my home region, Bogotá, every day. I am deeply in love with my country and continually rediscover my affection for Bogotá.

For this reason, I truly value the work of KonTour Travel, as it highlights the diversity and beauty of Colombia’s many unique destinations and helps share them with the world.

I am a proud Colombian, from what is often described in the Llanos as “that green magic where the blue of the sky melts into the earth.” It is an honor to introduce Colombia, a country of joy, flowers, and coffee.

From deserts with towering dunes to untouched jungles filled with still-unexplored wildlife, from its deep blue seas to snow-capped peaks, from cool mountain ranges to warm canyons, Colombia offers a remarkable diversity of landscapes that invites you to discover and enjoy every corner. I am a Certified Public Accountant, graduated from the University Francisco de Paula Santander. I later moved to Bogotá in search of professional opportunities, where I found in the tourism industry a meaningful way to connect with people, discover new perspectives, and deepen my appreciation for my country while sharing it with others.

Travelling has always been one of my passions and it led to the founding of KonTour Travel. I grew up in Colombia raised by Swiss/German parents and thus combine a Colombian heart with Swiss heritage to ensure we offer unique Colombian experiences that run like clockwork. Understanding European’s expectations and knowing what can be really be done in Colombia allows me to design a product portfolio tailored to the discerning traveller. I am originally from Germany and have been living in Colombia for more than ten years. During my studies abroad, I fell in love with this fascinating country and traveled extensively through South America. Today, Colombia is my home – together with my Colombian husband and our two children, we live our own personal adventure in a small village.
